Easy Sudoku
Easy puzzles start with 35 or more numbers filled in, and every one can be finished using only the two most basic techniques. They’re a good place to learn, or a quick warm-up. Par is 4:30.
How to solve an easy Sudoku
- Naked single. A cell where only one number fits, because the other eight already appear in its row, column or box.
- Hidden single. A number that has only one possible cell left in a row, column or box. It goes there, even if that cell has other candidates.
Playing here
Tap a cell, then a number. Turn on Notes to pencil in candidates; they clear themselves when you place a number nearby. You get three hints per game and unlimited undo. Your game saves after every move, so you can close the tab and come back to it.
